Framing Lumber
Deering Lumber offers a complete line of kiln dried spruce framing lumber, to include many long lengths. We have built our business on providing better than average quality lumber to discriminating builders. We have been fortunate to work with select mills to ensure consistent high quality on your jobsite. We also belong to one of the largest purchasing cooperatives in North America for competitive purchasing power.
Pine Lumber
The Saco River Valley contains some of the best Eastern White Pine growing habitat in the world. Most of our pine is harvested and milled right here in the Saco Valley. The majority of our pine is milled and graded to old fashioned higher standards, than current industry norm, by small local mills. Raw and primed pine is available in random lengths 6' to 16'. Our primed pine is a finish grade. Knots are primed with Bin sealer and then primed again with oil based primer. For those who would like all 16' material, we offer Deering Clear Primed Pine, a finger jointed eastern white pine that is primed with an oil based Cabot primer. For more information:

Decking Lumber Products

Decking species in stock:
- Mangaris: Clear, consistent deep color, high decay resistance, low grain raise and splintering
- Fir: Clear, consistent color, moderate to high decay resistance, low grain raise and splintering
- Red Cedar: sound tight knots, soft, moderatly decay resistant, moderate grain raise and splintering
- Spruce: sound tight knots, soft, low decay resistance, moderate grain raise and splintering
- Pressure Treated: Few knots, hard, highly decay resistant, heavy grain raise splitting and splintering
- Correct Deck: Composite, no knots, hard, highly decay resistance, grey and cedar color
- Trex: Composite, no knots, moderately hard, highly decay resistance, grey color

Plywood
Deering Lumber has plywood and specialty panels for all your building needs, from rough sheathing to finish, from 1/8" to ¾" A-1 Birch plywood. We also have a full line of sheathings and underlayments, all of which are grade stamped for Quality assurance.

Drywall
Our drywall customers tell us there is a difference! We stock National's Gold Bond, the finest drywall available. Gold Bond is produced in a state of the art facility right down the road in Portsmouth New Hampshire. We inventory fire resistant and moisture resistant drywall, as well as regular drywall in a variety of sizes.

Suspended Ceilings
Deering Lumber offers Armstrong Ceiling Tile, which will add beauty and character to any room. Armstrong ceiling tile can give old spaces new life at a low cost. Deering Lumber inventories both staple up tile and drop tiles. We also have access to many styles within a few days.

Insulation
Deering Lumber inventories John's Manville Fiberglass Insulation. John's Manville fiberglass insulation is a formaldehyde free product, resulting in a healthier home. Deering Lumber stocks both faced and unfaced insulation in a variety of thickness and widths. For attic applications we have John's Manville fiberglass blow in insulation and a blower in our rental department. We also offer Dow Styrofoam blue rigid insulation board, which can be used both above and below grade.

Masonry Products
Deering Lumber stocks several Conproco bagged cements and mortars. Conproco is a high quality product, suitable for a variety of projects around the house. Deering Lumber also offers Maine made cement blocks, colored patio blocks and cement tubes.

Siding
Deering Lumber stocks a large selection of wood and synthetic sidings. Five kinds of clapboard wood siding from pine to primed cedar. James Hardie cement siding is available with one coat of cabot finish for a fast complete installation. We also stock Maibec pre-stained shingles in gray and bleaching oil with other colors available in a few days. Deering Lumber inventories many colors of Georgia Pacific Vinyl Siding and accessories.

Roofing
Deering Lumber inventories Certainteed Roofing Shingles in both a three tab and architectural style in several colors. In addition, we have recently added Elk Roofing Shingles to our product line. This is a quality 30 year laminated shingle.Both products have a stain guard component that prevents the discoloration of the
roofing granules caused by the growth of algae. To supply our large in stock color selection, we have trucks coming from both factories nearly every week. Put your special order colors and styles on one of our factory direct truckloads. We also offer all the accessories to include Grace Ice and Water Shield and Benjamin Obdyke Roll Vent.
